Are test prep classes an effective approach for helping every student attain the highest scores possible?
Would individualized test prep be a better fit for you?
At Ace Academics, we know that some students won’t reach their potential as just one of the crowd.
Each Ace student feels like our only student. We prepare them for their tests one individual at a time.
We measure how far you’ve come, as well as how far you want to go!
STEP-by-STEP PREP the ACE WAY
We administer a diagnostic test before instructions even begins:
Pre-tests provide a benchmark that allows us to measure progress
Pre-tests reveal strengths already present and areas that require strengthening
We use reliable practice tests to review and re-teach every skill:Actual test questions are much more effective learning tools than general subject reviews
Every practice question provides another chance to experience the final test experience in advance
We re-test frequently in a well-supervised setting at no additional charge:
Practice test opportunities demonstrate progress and provide encouragement
Practice test results lead to re-focused effort and new strategies that target areas needing more effort
We partner with students during the preparation process:Students are encouraged to observe their own learning and what strategies work for them as individuals
Students benefit from constant interaction with tutors who engage in personalized guidance, not lecturing
We are experts at teaching students how to respond to Essay Questions:We provide a rubric (detailed guide) that describes every element of an effective written response
Our unique error pattern recognition system identifies problems that students can learn to eliminate
We know that each test differs and how to apply strategies that work for each:Some tests penalize for guessing and some don’t; skills tested vary from test to test
Strategies for gaining maximum points apply to all tests, but are especially useful for some
Individualized Instruction; Effective, Customized Test-Taking Strategies; Frequent Progress Measurement
